i wanted one for 22 years, but didn't know how to ask either. i never cheated, we have 2 children now grown, and she asked me for a divorce!, boy was i a happy man!

I'm sorry that the marriage did not work, I hope u guys tried everything. I know marriage is a hard thing and a lot of hard work. If u you are that unhappy then it is best to ask for a divorce. Just be straight forward to him about it. Tell him what made you want this, but if it has to do with another man do not tell him that! This will really hurt him, but on the other hand he may have the same feeling. Good Luck!

Just say it..."I want a divorce."
Or go to a lawyer and get the papers drafted up and have him served.
Either way "Divorce is expensive, but it's worth it."

If you can avoid a divorce than avoid it. Before anything try marriage counseling and if things aren't better just come strait out and say it. " I can't be with you I want a Divorce " and be honest about why

Many times it take a big fight to get those words out, but there is nothing wrong with just sitting down and telling your spouse that things are not working out. It's not going to be easy, but if you are at that point and can say you tried your best to make things work then you have no other choice. The longer you wait the more miserable you are going to be.
