Never Ever give out personal information on here and make sure that your email is set so none of that is available. I think that there are a lot of nasty characters out there who use the computer to cause harm to others. You should really be on the ball and never assume anyone is nice unless you know them in person in the real world. Unfortunately there are a lot of teenagers who are attacked each and every day due to trusting some guy on the Internet that they thought was nice. If you want further info on this try this site:

This is NOT the first time something like this has happened. There have been hundreds of UN-reported incidences. Hundreds of rape cases. Thousands of child molestation cases.

Many do not make the news because something else takes over the front page. And many cases are handled quietly in the background to avoid a public panic and outcry against the service hosting the abuser.

If people would just be careful and NOT give personal information over the net none of this would be happening, or at least it would be MUCH less.

Take time to get to know someone before exchanging PRIVATE information. I have met many people in person that I have met on the net, but not before about a YEAR of chatting before exchanging PERSONAL INFO!!!!

I go out of my way to not be offensive here but on occasion have made some remarks in my answers that earned me a couple of nasty emails, but I consider the source. I don't think anyone here is to be taken so literally to believe they are a threat to anyone but those closest to them. We have some whackjob conspiracy theorists who get real mad if you don't agree with them but nothing to take seriously.

I am not concerned about this because I don't engage in arugments online. If I dislike or disagree with someone I ignore them.

sometimes, I'm mostly concerned with q&a I give reguarding my children. I don't "think" I give out to much information and I don't think an attacker could find me or my children.
