It is a bad idea because mexicans come to America to work in jobs americans are to lazy to work in. They don't hurt anyone and all they are trying to do is get a better life.

It is a waste of money. The fence they have up now is not working!!! They need to come up with a better solution to the problem before trying to fix it.

This is a very tricky question that a lot of really smart people disagree on, but I don't personally think that this is a bad Idea. To me Charity begins at home. How can we help take care of the world, when we have our own issues at home that we have to handle, before we can support illegal immigrants who are are abusing our social security system, among other things. I am not speaking of legal immigration. If people want to come here legally, I have no problem, with them using our system the way every other legal citizen gets to use it. But keeping illegals out, by means of a fence is the best way for us to send the message to the rest of the world that we have our limits.

I thinks its a good idea. Where you say they come work jobs that Americans are to lazy to do you are forgetting the economic affects of them working for less than minimum wage. Then company get this idea that they could have people working for less and they stop hiring people, Americans, that demand to make at lest minimum wage. I wouldn't care so much if there weren't Americans out there who would work as long as they got paid minimum wage. There is no shortage of American's that need jobs!

It's not a bad idea, but it's just not going to completely stop illegal immigrants from coming over. rather than building a fence, we need to have laws against them that are actually put to use!

In front of the fence there should be about 50 yards of land mines and then razor wire.

It is a bad idea because it is to short... the border is a bit longer than that... typical government half @ssed job...

I think even if we put it up, there still coming over. I do think they should try to do it legaly, because when they get caught it doesn't worl out too well for them.
