Check out a hedgehog. They're awesome pets...very clean, small, they don't make loud noises. Just be careful if you leave it in a penned area outside for recreational purposes. They are excellent diggers and will be gone before you know it.

Sherrie and Terry (lol, like the twin women people on the Simpsons) Maisy and Daisy Nora and Cora (or Laura... or Dora... or plant existence...) This next one is weird and wonderful and beautiful, yet I even have constantly theory that Fredricka may well be an magnificent call for a rat.

After having read 2 other questions posted by Carnage today I would hope that he never has the chance to own a pet of any kind.

Wait!!! What's wrong with a Llama? Mine was nice so was her baby I helped deliver. A kitty, cat should do well, sooo calming and not a lot of upkeep unlike my gazillion pets, but I love em all.

(Ssshhh, pet/rescue shelter are my kind of places, just don't look at the roo's they will certianly break your heart, ssshhh).

True: there are hedgehogs for re-homing in Hedgehog Hospitals. They have been injured by cars and can't manage in the wilds, so you'd be doing a good thing as well...

My recommendation is very rare but also high maintenance. It's currently looking for a new home. It's name is Anna Nicole Smith from the genus "gold-digger".

A chinchilla?
I hear Madonna made a great coat out of hers...so if yours gets out of line, you'd at least have a new jacket or scarf out of the deal.

How about a cooter? You can eat them or just keep them for companionship. They love to sit on top of logs. The only problem is that some times they smell a little fishy.

A Chameleon. I had one once. They are really cool, changing colors and their eyes are crazy. Plus they have very long tongues and its fun to watch them eat with it. They are not that expensive and are pretty easy to take care of.
