I have never had snow anywhere near my home. The closest snow would be about an hour away up in the mountains. Even there its never more than a light powder. I live in San Diego, its freakin 80 degrees right now.

Depends where you live at. I live in Alaska and I dont think snow is a reason to call in sick.

1/2" is good enough for me to stay home where i live,im 35 and only seen it snow once here.

When its sooo snowy that the major roads are all closed down and u need a snowmobile to get anywhere
