I rush to the phone to see who is calling. Then I decide if I answer.

We have a talking Caller ID phone. It's wonderful -- I can decide whether or not I need to rush to answer it. If it's some random person, I can saunter over, finish the Yahoo! Answer I'm working on, or just ignore it. If it's the office of my kids' school, I grab it because it usually means that one of them is sick and I have to go get them. And if it rings at 3 in the morning, I know who I'm going to have to yell at...

I rush to check the caller ID. I won't answer it if it's someone I don't want to talk to, or if I don't know who it is. I hate talking to strangers on the phone.

Depends on the mood I am in. I guess I am quicker to answer it when I am lonely. If I have things to do or don't feel like talking. I may rush to check the caller ID to see who it is, then decided if I need to answer or if I feel like talking.

No, I hate answering the phone almost as bad as I hate talking on the phone. Actually it makes me mad when the phone rings.

i got a small apartment, two cordless phones, and three rings to get to one of them before the machine picks up so i take my time to get there. i am pretty sure the average person is going to wait at least three rings before they decide to get impassion. now as for my cell phone, there's no rush if its in pocket
