I'm not too serous about many questions on here but my daughter has a beautiful bronze colored long dress hanging on her closet door. She wore it for her sophomore homecoming dance. It is brand new and only worn once. I am about 98% sure she would donate it if her mother says OK.
I would need to know what size the young lady is and your e-mail address so I can send you a picture of it and get details where to mail it to. If it works out maybe we can get it to her before Christmas. I would even take care of the postage to ship it.
I will bookmark this question and check back later. Please don't get your hopes up too much because once again I have to get the X wife's OK on this.

Try a consignment shop or look online for your local area, some stores will donated a dress. I know Texas and New York does this.

See if there are any thrift stores (Salvation Army, Goodwill, etc), or consignment stores in your area. You'd be surprised at what you might find at a great price.
Good luck , and have fun at the prom.

Also look in the local newspaper for someone selling a used dress. Local consignment shops will have good deals, too!

Just be sure to get the right measurements and check the seller's feedback: if it is less than 99% so not buy from that seller.
