i have a belkin 802.11g wireless card in my pc which is connecting to my family router (netgear ). I can hardly stay connected for more than a few minuites some times and other times it fine for a few hours. but it always dissconnects is there anyway i can keep it connecteengtd all the time. the signal strh hang around 77% and is transfering at 54mbps so cant understand why it always turns off and i have to press repair on my wireless network connection icon

also sometimes i have a good connection but it wont pick up the ip add. and therefore says 'limited or no connectivity plese someone heeeeeeeeeelp

ps anyone know what my fragment thresh hold and all that should be thanks

there is alot of things that could cause problems. I would say to double check the settings on the router and make sure you have the right type of enrcryption, network key, and also check for how long your router will lease of ip adresses. unistall and reinstall your wireless nic in your computer.

you need to have web key or SSID which you can create on your router after that it should be fine.
