Ok so in my writing I write she said " it's just comfort care and it wa" (wa is the only sound she was able to say because I interrupted her) my professor keeps circling it, but that is really what she said, so how do I write it correctly? is there some other way?
Also in another section i wrote ...starts laughing hysterically for a moment "sh, she named it...." the sh is because she is laughing, and thats the sound that came out. How do I write that correctly ? Or is my prof just an ***? Help

Try using a dash to show the cut-off nature of the sound.
"It's just comfort care and it wa--"
or
"Sh-she named it."

You can also clarify by saying something like:
"It's just comfort care and it wa--." Bob cut her off, saying, "I don't care what it was!" etc., etc.
or
"Sh-she named it," Irene giggled uncontrollably.

Try putting a dash or an ellipse after the partial word to show it was truncated:

"wa-" or "wa..."

Your professor might be right, you write it correctly and then describe the way it was said.
