writing is sort of an hobby, and i have been sort of writing poetry for a few years now.
not that they are any good (you may take a peek at my blog http://what-ever-comes.blogspot.com/ where i have posted a little few), but i have had some good remarks on them. anyway, i have sort of have been thinking of having them really published, but have no idea on how to.
and it is not as if i can afford to self publish.
any ideas, advice or hints are welcome.

I have self-published and it is pretty easy and, depending on the number of pages and number of copies, can be pretty inexpensive.

you might check out morris publishing if you are interested.

there are other printers who will do it but it is alittle more expensive (but sometimes the others will do as few copies as you wish whereas morris has a minimum number of copies)

There are, of course, poetry journals and magazines that you could submit things to...

god bless!!

i was published last year with publish america and have had no trouble with them...go to www.publishamerica.com and research their page...they don't charge anything to actually get published and they send royalty checks twice a year...good luck...the only other thing i can tell you is send your stuff to lots of different publishers...you can get a book called Writer's Digest that will help you immensely...and never take NO for an answer.

Most towns and cities have a writers club. First check larger libraries, ask their librarians and then your local ywca's and ymca's. Someone should be able to get some contacts for you.
