Discuss this with your parents. They will be able to help you better than we will.

Oh, and the police will be able to get whatever you've typed online with your computer, too. Just so you know.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you have already admitted to it they have you dead to rights. Getting an attorney will probably be a waste of money in your case, so your best bet is to plead guilty, admit responsibility, and ask for leniency based on your otherwise clean record. Don't try to blame anyone else and don't try to minimize what you did. The judge isn't going to let you walk, but you'll have a better chance of getting a fine, probation, and community service (as opposed to jail time) if you conduct yourself in a respectful, responsible manner in court. What the judge will want to hear from you is that you freely admit that you did it, you understand just how serious this offense is, you learned your lesson, and you'll never try anything like this again. If you come off sounding like a smart-@$$ or acting like it was no big deal the judge is going to HAMMER you. Be smart. Be respectful. Be a responsible adult and own up to what you did. That's the best way to handle it.

P.S.: This should have been obvious, but high school bomb threats in this post-Columbine world are NOT funny.

In this day and time it is not the thing to do but since you already have I would do this.
Make sure that you dress nicely without to much makeup.
Look the judge head on at all times and do not fidget around.
If the judge feels you need a lawyer he will ask you if you can afford one at that time to which you will tell him no.
He will then appoint you one and set another court date.
Your attitude will have a lot to do with his thinking so be very respectful.
Good Luck & God Bless

Have your parents get in touch with me and click the link below. This will get you access to an Attorney/Law Firm in your State of Oregon. This is VERY affordable and it will save you TIME and MONEY. You need to talk to an Attorney and get access to your Legal Rights. I hope to be of service to your family.

Sincerely,

Jon
