Depends what format the film you have downloaded is in Usually a DVD burning program like Nero 7 will convert it "on the fly" for you.

First of all, do you have a dvd burner? If you do, maybe it is damaged. If you do not have a dvd burner, you might have a cd burner. If you have a cd burner, you can burn the movies to the cd, but can only view them in a computer.

You'll have to give us more info. Since I have none I just tell you what to get and do.
Download Nero Platinum.
Go to http://www.free-codecs.com/download_soft.php?d=2276&s=95 and install the codecs.(codecs are used for encoding and decoding videos.)
Open NeroVision in the Nero folder under the start menu, and fallow the instructions.
