voice changes to a more pleasant one. i think both men and women tend to be nicer to members of the opposite sex than the same sex. i just think it is a natural tendency. do you think this is considered flirting though?

Well it truly depends on the nature of the conversation and the body language used at the time of conversation. I don't think that having a normal conversation with the opposite sex would validate it as being a flirtatious thing. Sometimes its innocent. However, I do see your point in this with the niceness of the opposite sex rather than the same. I don't know why that is but I think its an element thing and comforting thing for some who crave the attention from the opposite sex that the same sex cant give. Hope this helps in that a little!

I'm the opposite! I'm far nicer to the same sex (female). But then, I'm in a relationship. I do change my voice and body language to a more flat, masculine tone to make men look at me more of just another person, than 'just a girl'.

Guys tend to make more eye contact than females and lighten their tones (especially in business!).
