What do you think would happen if Portia and Desdemona changed their roles?
Portia is in the Merchant of Venice and Desdemona is in the Tragedy of Othello and both are by SHakespeare.

do your own home work. I get so tired of people who have no ability to form their own opinion. How do you get by in the real world if you can't even formulate your own opinion for a lousy research paper? A research paper requires research - go to the friggin library, don' t waste your time here with these people, myself included. I don't know the first thing about what you want to know and don't really care. Go learn something, it doesn't hurt I promise.
