Make any politicians in the newly elected Congress (especially newly elected Democrats) aware of your concerns, and keep those letters, telephone calls and e-mails coming. Be courteous--remember, you are asking them to undertake something that they would rather not get involved with!

Also, whenever you can, try to inform newspapers, radio talk shows and news programs, Network news and Public Affairs directors of Bush's criminality and your interest in impeachment.
Again, keep those letters, e-mails, faxes, and telephone calls coming (No profanity or obscenity however, you want to be taken seriously!!!)

The newly elected Congress is already prepared to "go along to get along" with the maniac in chief. Only sustained grassroots pressure will remind them of the upcoming election in 2008 and that there is a REAL CONSTITUENCY out there for bringing Bush to task for his corruption and criminality--from 9-11 coverups to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq to the hundreds of BILLIONS of (your) dollars unaccounted for in the "reconstruction" of those two shattered countries.

I don't know if this will lead to impeachment hearings and articles by itself, but NOTHING will happen unless those who are concerned at least BEGIN the action!!

After the democrats are signed into office in january you could try to start a rally or a petition and then send it to congress to let them know we would rather have Dick in office... one problem, second in command is the one running everything along with top advisor Rove, so impeaching Bush would do nothing and it would also require 2/3 of the congressional vote... not likely

Write your Congressman and tell tell him to vote for impeachment. I am sure the Democrats will bring impeachment sometime after they take control in January. I am also sure it will fail miserably. It will be an incredible waste of taxpayer time and money. In the end George Bush will not be removed frm office and the very action will cost Democrats votes in the next election.

rare2findd: Okay, let's extend your logic to the conclusion. He won't be removed from office. Just like Clinton wasn't!

People, you really need to get over this obsession with impeaching George Bush. It's not going to happen. The man has not broken any laws or committed any crimes. You can't just impeach someone because you disagree with them or don't like them.

smoke another blunt! Nancy Pelosi would like to keep her job, and how many Democrats are worried that they would be found just as guilty as Bush? They also know that if they proceed with impeachment proceeding they will pay for it come election time for wasting tax payers time and money. There are no impeachable offenses!

It is my opinion that Bush has committed crimes against humanity. However, others may not share that belief. But.
He can be impeached.
How you say?
Bring charges. Just like in the Clinton matter.
Some may be dropped but at least one will remain.
Let matters proceed. Just like in the Clinton matter.
Then start asking questions, you know, just like in the Clinton matter.
Have all of your proofs at hand. Just like in the Clinton matter.
Then pepper him with questions we all know the answers to. Just like in the Clinton matter. Then impeach him just like in the Clinton matter.
Because he will lie. Just like Clinton did.
He will perjure himself.
Just like Clinton did.
Enough said?

You can't.
So, write a letter to your senator explaining what it is that you think Bush should be doing instead of what he's doing now.

(If I were to write such a letter, I'd say that the President needs to set clearly defined goals for the war in Iraq, so we can complete the mission there and move on).

cool idea. Then Cheney would be President. He'd be eligible to run again in 2008, then 2012. For a total of 12 years..

The American People impeached Clinton for lying about a BJ - so let's impeach Bush for lying about WMD and killing nearly 2500 US soldiers in the process.
Hello!!!

Start making NOISE!

Too many people are sitting around complaining quietly but doing NOTHING! There are all sorts of ways to get involved actively, without having to go half-way across the country.

There are some websites also dedicated to that very thing...

Below are listed just a few of them, there are A LOT of folks out there thinking the SAME THING!!

The most important thing is to GET INVOLVED and to start networking! Otherwise who knows what he might try to do in his last few years/months in office.
