You have to be actively trying for 1year before you can see a specialist. Go and see your regular GYN, so she can put you on vitamins and she will tell you how you can tell if you are ovulating. Know your cycle, count how many days are in it. You ovulate 14 days before menstruation, and the best time to conceive is 24 hours before and after ovulation. There are OTC ovulation tests. Take your temperature everyday starting from the 1st day of your period, within a couple of weeks you should see a normal temperature, then when you ovulate your temp will go up slightly. You have to be doing all this for 1 year, if no success then they will send you to a specialist. First they will check your partners semen to rule him out. Good Luck.

How long have you been trying to get pregnant? If it has been over a year, you might consider seeing a specialist about it. It took me a year and a half to get pregnant after losing my first baby. Seeing a doctor about the problem might put your mind at ease. Sometimes just being fearful about losing another baby or trying too hard to get pregnant can stress you out so much that it's just about impossible to get pregnant.

How long have you been trying for?

My wife and I have been together for 5-years we have know decided to have a baby we started trying on October she was concern because she thought she was unable to conceive she she scheduled an appointment for a complete physical on Monday December 4th, she told her Doctor about her concern he said it is to soon not to worry she is in good health he said the average when is your first time trying to conceive is about 6-8 months not to worry to start taking prenatal vitamins right away and it should help conceiving know if she doesn't conceive within 8-months she should go back to see him and he will schedule her with an Ob/Gyn don't worry go to the doctor if you have any concerns if you haven't been trying for more than 6 months and you go see an Ob/Gyn they will tell you to try for 1-year if after that you don't conceive to go in and they well check you and your partner for infertility!!!

Good Luck and for best answers and concerns ask your Doctor where here to help also but the only one that will have the right answer for you and will make you feel better is your doctor...

Best Regards,
Jose and Anai :o)

Take prenatel pills, eat healthy, don't stress over stuff,Stop smoking and severely cut back on drinking.Try to get back to a health weight.
It never hurts to go to a specialist because they might find a reason why you have troubles conceive again.

If you have a 28 day cycle then you are likely to ovulate around the 14th day after your period. You would want to have sex before during and after this time! Have sex every other day cause everyday will lower his sperm count!
