What it the best way to cut circuit boards?

My fourth grader wants to use unpopulated circuit boards to build her California Mission. How do I cut them and would I need to sand the edges? Any safety concerns? Thanks in advance for the help!

Cut with bandsaw and sand or seal the edges. Don't inhale the dust.
