Not really. I mean you don't consider a straight couple living together a family. Even though it feels like they are.

I would consider it a family. You consider close friends family don't you? Or just like family right? The gay couple love each other and are most likely happy together and they are closer than best friends if they're lovers so they should be considered family. Who cares if they are gay. It is their choice to make not ours.
If a straight couple living together are a family then so is a gay couple. We shouldn't discriminate based on sexual orientation

I am not one to judge someone because of who they love and want to spend their lives with. I think there are many "normal" families out there that shouldn't even be together. Many people shouldn't have children yet they are the ones who seem to pop kids out ever year. Then there are people who really love each other yet because they both have a penis or a vagina they can't be considered a family. I think that is wrong. It isn't like you can catch gay! If one dies the other can not get insurance to help take care of their children I think that is wrong. Now because many people have a religious problem with it then come up with something like a civil union to take care of them in case of death and so they can say they are a real family.

i think a family can be anywhere from 2 people to 200, as long as those people love you and support you lik eyou need.
