my nephew has rubbed lipstick into our new carpet, how can i remove it..... asap

Lipstick is usually oil-based so you could try the old trick for removing candlewax: put down some non-glossy paper (kitchen towel will do) over the area and very gently run the iron over the kitchen with a **COOL** iron.

The heat should melt the lipstick and draw it up out of the carpet in to the kitchen towel.

If it's really bad, you could consider claiming on your home insurance. Many companies are surprisingly reasonable when making claims for accidental damage.

Maybe you could try using a steam cleaner they are really good helpers! If it doesnt come out right away then leave it there longer. Let me know if it helps.

Put down brown paper
and iron it.
The paper absorbs the wax.
