On the surface South Park would seem to simply be vulgar and moronic, but if you've watched enough episodes you'll notice it's political and social commentary tends to actually be quite cutting and very good. To answer your question, Matt Parker and Trey Stone appear to be a lot like myself, not willing to take any sides to the extreme right or left. I've noticed they've made fun of Clinton and Bush Jr. both several times, as well as taking on foreign dictators and other world leaders. They do of course ridicule 'rednecks' which I would assume most people would take as a liberal stance, although i'm not sure who first decided that anyone who doesn't like country folk is liberal, and anyone in a cowboy hat or tilling a farm is a conservative. Good question though.

I concur with the general consensus, the show makes fun of both sides. They also made a move called "Team America".
There they poke fun at all sides of the spectrum.
Anyone who calls the show asinine hasn't caught the subtle messages and satire. Much of it is quite witty!

From the little I've watched, I'd have to say it's biased towards vulgarity & stupidity.
