I live in flats
The problem is that they are seepage in our every washroom
If these seepage haven’t fixed on time they extend & the area affected become wider & wider day by day
We have rebuilt the washroom of the people who live just above us 3 years before
1 year before we call the people who pure some chemicals in the sewerage line & these seepage stops
But now the problem is the people live above us refuses to get this type of work done again in there washrooms
i want to know is there any other way out that we can do. Can we do something in our own washrooms' roof to get rid of this seepage?
Now I just can’t tolerate. That dirty water (sewerage water) is drip in my washroom & I can’t do anything
Please help me out

Responsibility for the leakage down to your flat lies with your landlord. If the landlord isn't willing to fix this problem, you would need to either file a lawsuit or move out. This is a dangerous health situation for you and you shouldn't have to endure it.

It seems likely that the waste pipe from the upstairs unit is either not seated properly or has deteriorated. The pipes would need to be replaced, which means destroying drywall to do so. Depending upon the extent of the damage, the floors may need to be replaced as well as the joists. After all of that, then the repair to the wall/ceiling/floor can begin.
