Absolutely.
Scientists can now clone plants, animals, and some human body parts (from stem cells).
It's only a matter of time before they have perfected a complete human. Then it's up to society to decide if it's okay.

Well there might be but because but because scientist still are unsure about what exactly can be called a clone there may not be such a thing as cloning.

Yes.
Several species have already been cloned. There are technical problems that have not been addressed as the species in question becomes more complex. In other words, we have cloned sheep but have not cloned a primate. There have been debates about humans, but at this point, that is only a moral question. No one could do it with today's technology, even if they wanted to.

Scientists have recently made massive progress with cloning. The 'moral implications' forbid the employment of cloning in society so we can't clone people yet, but then again look at the music industry

The meaning of the word "clone" has changed in recent years to be "an individual who is genetically identical to another, original, individual."
Several farm animals, starting with a sheep, have been cloned. Cats have been cloned.
