socks go!? I put both in the wash and only one comes out of the dryer!
Is there a sock heaven?
who steals my socks!?
do socks mate for life or can you find a close enough match and put them together?
what's frustrating is I know the kids probably lose theirs but I put both of mine in the wash!

Lets start a commitee to get an investigation to find out! I swear I wonder the same thing, plus I'm tired of buying socks. There was an episode of Sesame Street that said there's a whole new world in the dryer!

I have no idea where they go...someday someone will figure out a way to see what is inside a black hole and there will be billions of socks floating around...and yes i am afraid they mate for life, in some cases you can find another mate..but it has to be a perfect match..this is why as dull as it is, all of my socks are exactly the same..i just don't need the extra headache! lol

p.s. try safety pinning them together when you put them in the hamper..my ex mother in law used to that and never lost a sock...guess they never attempt escape in twos. lol

It's a evil Sock Monster that lives inside yer dryer. He eets them, but then decides that one didn't taste right, so he has to try a different pair.

They prolly don't mate fer life, so you can find a close enough match for the single ones.

Pin the socks together in pairs. It takes a little time, but your socks don't have the opportunity to escape as easily. It makes putting the socks in pairs after they are washed a snap.

the "little people" take them. offer them something of value to you and the socks will be returned.

Girl, I'm with you on this one. I have often wondered some of the same things.

Be blessed.

I think they have time limits and when they hit their limit they melt in the washer and go down the drain lol.
