I agree with one of the answers above. I don't know of any girl who doesn't like a piece of jewelry that she can wear & show off to people to show that she is with someone who loves her enough to spend that kind of money on her.
Also, don't get her a gift card or something like that. An actual gift that has thought to it means the world to most girls, it shows that you cared enough to get her something that she likes or at least you thought she'd like...LOL. Make sure you wrap it too, even if it's horrible, "it's the thought that counts most"

I just got an early xmas gift that I hate, an IPod and had asked for jewelry. It cost over $250.00 so speaking from experience get her something PERSONAL that shows her that you listen and care enough to get something special. Jewelry is a great gift because she can wear it and have it close to her all the time, reminding her of what a great guy you are. You don't have to get a ring but a nice pendant necklace or a bracelet are great. All of the big jewelers have special sales right now around 100 bucks will get something very pretty and appreciated. Well, if you've been with her for a year and a half you ought to have some idea of things she likes and doesn't. Her taste in clothing, smells, jewlery, etc. Get her something that will tell her you care about her well being and that you put a lot of thought into it. And if you REALLY can't figure something out, then get her a gift card for the same amt. you planned on spending on her to her favorite store. If she doesn't have one fave store and likes the mall, then get her a gift card for the mall. Most malls offer those now. But try to get her something specific before going for the gift card thing.

What does she like? I've never known a girl who doesn't appreciate a piece of jewelry. Maybe some nice 14 kt gold or sterling silver earrings? Or a bracelet or something? Good luck!

Take a note of her personal hygiene brands and such.
And make her a gift basket of all of her favorite lotions, deodorants, body sprays, body wash and such, she will love it because she will use it everyday!
Digital camera is a good idea too. Girls love to take pictures for some reason!

dude im having the same problem as you. I have been dating my girl for almost 2 years and I don't know what i should i get her either. I think we should both get them a card, some jewelry and maybe some chocolate.
