I think some people feel the need to try and connect with the fantasy the celebrities provide they don't read or get out so they need that hope of meeting the celebrities they love the most. It's all a fantasy and some people do take the obsession too far.

Bc they want to be like them. They want to be in their shoes. Some people think that they have perfect lives, but they really don't. I've heard it's harder living as a celebrity than it is being a normal person. It's sad that people aren't happy with who they are, but they shouldn't obsess about others. I've learned to accept who I am and if people don't like it then I don't care.

I would say some people do go overboard with it but for others it is just the entertainment factor. Just plain human curiosity. For me, I like to read about some things but then I get over it. I want to work in the industry, so I try to keep up with what's going on.
