The pill has the lowest failure rate depending on the user. You have too take it everyday at the same time plus or minus an hour. Double up on condoms and use lubricant for a better feel and doubling up will increase effectiveness. There are multiple pros and cons for each. 100% effective birth control is abstinence.Diaphragms can be awkward and can cause other problems just like IUD's can cause scarring and infertility.

The pill is the most effective at a 99% protection rate.
Lower are condoms and diaphrams. Condoms can break and slip.
Diaphrams can be placed incorrectly.

I have gotten pregnant 3 times on the pill. The only thing I have found that seems to be completely effective is the DepoProvera shot. It's convenient and there are virtually no side effects!

The best way is NOT TO HAVE SEX.

condoms work the best (in my opinion) since they reduce the risk of stds and pregnancy.
