Does it work like a brand new would? Same warrenty?

I would assume so b/c it says "certified refurbished." The word refurbished just makes me leary.

Although I guess who is to say/know if when they build brand new maybe those parts are refurbished....we would never know I guess.

Yes, I placed my order with one of those outlets. Received my computer from Dell in about 12 days. It was just like I ordered it and haven't had any problems since then.

I have sold three desktops and 4 laptops of the refurbished site with no complaint yet and depending on when you looking you can get some nice deals some are ordered items never used and returned too Dell and resold as refurbished some have a scratched or small dents and returned but they tell you before you purchase whats going on with the item

I bought two.

The unit has a red (and removable) sticker that basically says the unit is refurbished. Other than this sticker, it is exactly same as new. All accessories, such as keyboard and mouse were new. Plastic bag that some parts came in, were sealed. There were no scratches or anything on the box.

Same warranty as new. I'm extremely pleased.
