Alone in what way, Brenda? Being a christian, I believe we are never alone, no matter how lonely we may feel, sometimes - let alone 'Big Brother'...
If you mean as in single for life, I'd say you'd have to be determined that this is how you're meant to be (of your own choice) or a pretty awful person to never meet anyone -and then again, there'd be bound to be some awful chap to suit you just fine...
I can't hold down a relationship more than six months, but I'm not concerned to end up alone; there's bound to be someone I find worth staying with longer some time... And if not, so be it!

There is only one true way to know if you are destined to be alone, and that is to insistently TRYing to be alone. And even that sometimes does not work. Otherwise, if you belive you will wind up lonely for life, prepare for a big surprise. That is all life is, making some things happen and simply ALLOWING all the other things.

You don't know, you just have to take a chance and trust the decision that you have made was right, if not, then it was just another experience...
Life is just a series of chances that you take rather it is in a relationship or your career....Without taking chances, you will not know what you could have been or who you would be with today...

Life is what you make it...if you seclude yourself from a social life and shut yourself up from pursuing a relationship..it is pretty certain that you will end up alone.

Well, it is quite easy to do. Just treat everyone badly and accuse them all of something.That will be sure to drive them away. If you want to keep people around you do not judge, do not repeat confidences, and accept them with all their little faults (but do not point them out to them).
