do you go ahead and report? or do you answer the question for the 2 points before you report?
if people are so disturbed, wouldn't they just report? or is it all about the 2 points for answering?

When I'm disturbed enough to report, (which I've only done twice) I do not answer the question. I rarely report unless I think that the person has said something racist or otherwise insulting.

It depends. I'll report first if I feel that the question is completely offensive and needs to be removed ASAP. Those I don't usually answer. I'll answer and then report on the really stupid ones that I think Yahoo! will keep around just for $%&*'s and giggles.

I do trust the Answerer's very last paragraph (interior the link you presented) about unsolicited mail, plagiarism, bigotry, etc. although the stuff about chatting & 'price me' ?? is going too a techniques, IMO. I ignore concerning the 'price me' stuff, as i'm not a shallow human being. A %tells not some thing of the guy them self. And chatting is relaxing. I by no skill have reported someone who replied my ??, no remember how insulting the answer replaced into. yet I have reported solutions to others in severe situations (a 14 365 days previous female once requested what relaxing video games she ought to play at her sleepover social gathering & the Answerer used very vulgar, express language in his answer--so I reported him--& i'm taken aback that Y!A did not immediately censor different words he used.) It must be VERY undesirable previously I record someone. i am going to record unsolicited mail, although. this is only stressful!

The only time I ever reported anyone was someone who kept answering questions with that "All you need is love. Click here to find your soul mate" crap. Honestly it is stupid for people to advertise other sites on here. That's why I did it.
