Are you kidding me?! The media HATES the Dixie Chicks, radio won't play their music, and they don't get advertised half as much as the rest of the country artists who love Bush. The reason they're nominated for FIVE Grammy's is because the music is great. In fact, media has nothing to do with the nominations, other artists are the ones who vote.
They deserve these nominations, please accept it.

Their album is good and they've sold many.Yeah alot of people were upset over what they said about Bush,but they still like their music.And it wasn't the whole group that made the comment,it was just the lead singer Natalie.Anyways they're not as popular as they were so don't worry about it.Here in NC the radio stations hardly ever play any of their songs anymore.

It may be because they have done well in going another direction. Why did their base abandon them for speaking their mind? It appears the country music community wanted to end their carrer just because they dont agree with Bush's policies.
