I currently use a Dita medium weight Terra but fancy something that gives a little more striking power and doesn't dent so easy in the harder challenges. Any suggestions?

I like TK or Grays and have used a few different ones but I'm using a Zoppo at the moment, I have found them all comfortable and hard wearing.
Your choice will in part be made on price and without knowing that suggesting a model is hard but use a medium to light heavy composite stick with a short hook. Maybe you should try a longer stick. I use a 37 inch stick for reach in the tackle, this also helps with hitting power. you can get up to 40 inch sticks but dont get one too long as it can be harder to change direction of the tackle
Decide your price range then look for the model in that range from a good maker
Composite sticks dont dent unless you really hit something very hard but maybe you should try not to hit the opponents stick as much

if u are looking at defese, maybe get a heavier stick? what i will go for is those j hook, wood sticks.. go for GRAYS or TK. check their website out. but it is all up to ur preference. a good stick wont make u play better. its how u play/use it. try variety of sticks and choose which suits and is comfortable to u. that matters most =)
