an unnatural attraction?

Question

I feel a sexual attraction for a member of my family. and its driving me crazy. i know i shouldnt but just cannot restrain myself. every time that nubile body hugs me or plays with me i seem to go ballistic. nothing has happened but i just cant get her out of my loins. what should i do.

so could somebody, who might have felt the same, tell me how to get out of this dilemma. its getting more difficult everyday and good resolutions are fast fading.

I can already feel yahoo answers exploding... well actually its my daughter so try as i might i cant get away without leaving my family.

i appreciate the restraint shown by people in their answers till now. but i'm happily married, and cant figure out what to do, am going nuts..

A fathers love can be the most cherished thing. my father was the one who gave me my first blowout. and it was and is the most cherished memory i have. he seemed to develop this extra intrest in me when i started developing curves. i was so embarrased when i started bulging from all over, but he would feel my every curve and appreciate it so much that i soon felt like the most beautiful girl in the world. so i would go to his bed every morning and let him feel me all over. his hands gradually progressed to more and more intimate places and i enjoyed it more and more. he would rub my lips thru my pyjama's and it gave me incredible sensations, though nervous and apprehensive at first, i started to enjoy his touch till it became an addiction, and i couldnt wait for morning to come so that i could go to his bed and have him make me feel so good. I still do whenever i get the chance and whenever i feel down. he always had these limits beyond which he never went and i am grateful for that but then he was my father and i know he truely loved me. one day he taught me how to do a breast self examination and that was the day i came for the first time as he sucked my rosebuds. and when he ate me i went over the moon. but he never let me touch him. these are memories i shall always cherish.
So there is nothing bad for a father to make his daughter feel good about herself but there has to be the limit, because after that things could become negative. so love your daughter, it the best kind of love a daughter can get and make her feel good but just keep to that limit so that she doesnt start feeling bad.

This is quite unhealthy for you ,not to mention it is incest which in most areas is against the law. You don't want to get mixed up in something like that i'm sure. There are so many kinds of love that sometimes its hard to tell one from the other .Sit down and really think about this and the consequences that could be a result. I'm sure you are a terrific guy and there are many (unrelated ) gals that would simply go gaga over you .So get out look around ,flirt and find a nice gal to take your attentions off where they are.THere are some questions we ask that we really do already know the answers to but feel we need some validation to .I'm confident that in anyones heart of hearts if they are honest with you will tell you this is wrong and to put your attentions else where .Hoping you find a wonderful unrelated gal .good lucjk to you .

First of all, I don't know how old you are and how old she is. But the fact you're related to her is just a recipe for heartache. You have to consider if you expose your feelings, not just you are involved. Many peoples feelings can be harmed if you play out your actions. Your parents, her parents, your cousin, and a slew of other family members. Sometimes when we think of oursleves we forget the big picture. Those feelings you're having are selfish and will only hurt yourself and others if you don't squelch them. You may end up forever ruining your relationship with her. How would you feel if you had a sister and your cousin had those same thoughts and feelings towards her? Would you like it if he took it upon himself to take matters into his own hands and disregard her feelings and others? This just may be a passing phase you're going through. You might want to talk to a mature friend who you feel comfortable with and can relate to you. Just be honest with yourself, I detect your conscience is telling you it's not right; so don't ignore your conscience. I don't think you will find many who will justify your feelings. So listen to the majority on this one.

I had a bit of a similar situation. I have a younger cousin and I believe that he liked me... he used to always hug me and say wat kinda guys I like. And told me that I was romantic.
I just played it off and went on. But i am still fiends with him.
If I were you, i would tell myself that i know nothing could happen.
Try to focus on hobbies and other possible girlfriends... You must just keep your feelings under control and just go with the flow.

Well, apparently you know that it isn't something that can happen and you obviously want to avoid anything from happening. Unfortunately, there isn't anything you can do other than telling yourself that it won't and cannot happen; since you do not want to see a therapist or anything. Maybe after repeatedly telling yourself this, your brain will trick itself into letting this go. You could go to a hypnotherapist and get them to hynotize you to forget all about her in that way.

i think mayb you should try to stop playing around with this sister?brother?momma?or whom ever it might b,this way you can at least get away from these feelings for awhile,i hope you find the right answer,but just try,not playing around with this person.good luck.your starting in the right direction by asking for help.
