Have just heard from a friend that taking Eltroxin or Thyronorm on a daily basis makes a person addicted to it? Is it true and if yes please tell me about some safe treatment for hypothyroid

if u want to get rid of these medicine first try yoga for few months while continuing your medicines, check the thyroid test report after3 months and u will fined lot of improvement, buy swami ramdevji maharajs "Pranayam" CD available at all music stores , it contains two Cd's, very easy to learn, yoga will help u. but u will have take either medicine for life time or yoga for life time, the advantage with yoga is it will tone up your entire system, refresh u, make u energetic, and so many other benefits to your body,your body will be resisting other ailments,

No one can not get addicted to thyronorm or eltroxin as these are thyroid hormone supplements prescribed to hypothyroid patients n its better to continue the medicines.

eltroxin does not produce addiction but u need to take that drug regularly to take treatment for hypothyroidism.

I'm on Eltroxin and I'm NOT addicted to them. Don't believe everything you hear or read :)

No, it's not addictive. It's a hormone treatment. If you have hypothyroidism, then your thyroid isn't producing enough of the hormone you need so they give you the synthetic.

No addiction.
