a purse for older ladies (the one where you can put checks and 10 pens and slot for cigarett and a very long skinny strap) from a guy who was in-loved with me in my typing class. i thought it was awful. the worse thing is I gave it to somebody else as a gift who was a little older than me and whom I thought it's appropriate to use it. Guess what, she forwarded it to her mom who's 65 years old who did not like it and forwarded it to her other older friends. Right now I'm not sure what happened to it. I have a feeling that the purse ended up in a salvation army store. What do you think?

That actually sounds nice. What's the problem?
My worst ever gift was an old shower head in a white elephant gift-swap.
I don't celebrate c-mas in the first place and gave a nice gift. Everyone in the class thought it was hilarious.

I once got this very strange contraption that looked like an ice pick at the office White Elephant gift exchange, and it turned out to be some strange device that you're supposed to use to cut the glass of your car window if you get stranded inside it. (???) The girl to my right got a SpongeBob Squarepants doll and a G.C. to Starbucks. Unfair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A set of china dishes/boxes for a dresser. They were very Victorian looking, and did not go with a thing I had.

I re-gifted them and the recipient was delighted with them!

I got a pair of fuzzy booger-green socks with a matching fuzzy booger-green sweater from my sister-in-law. As if that wasn't awesome enough, one of the socks had a huge hole right where the big toe goes....they were so nasty I don't even think Goodwill would take them!

My elderly aunt gave me an old bath robe she had in her basement stored away, when I unwrapped it, it smelt like moth balls, and had an old curler and a bobby pin inside the pocket, also a used kleenex.........I laughed so hard in front of her I couldnt contain myself,...then my instigator family made me try it on..... happens every year too.
