The book is demeaning to the intelligent reader.
But if you've wasted a few bucks on the movie, then why not waste a few more on the book.

Hi Marie,

Im the complete total opposite to you im just reading the book i hav'nt seen the movie yet, but i dont wanna yet anyway or it will spoil the book. So yer im about 1/4 through the book, personally i think its real good-if you like that type of book, kinda quite entertaining and in with the media and fashion obviously yer its great. Even though im only 1/4 way through its still a good book so far and im looking forward to reading the rest. Would totally reccomend it, as you've seen the film, whats stopping you reading the book?

If you liked the film, you'kk be sure to like the book just as much:
even more maybe

Good Luck

I liked the book, but preferred the movie. I actually wish I would have read it before I saw the movie instead of the other way around, because I thought the movie was more concise and the story flowed better. But, the book does have some merit. It wouldn't be a waste of your time.

Sorry, I thought the book was tiresome. Frankly I thought it was a rather long winded adult "whine". I haven't seen the movie yet, but I do think that it is probably really funny. The book has some cute moments and I could see how it would be a fast-paced funny movie with the right players....

I am currently reading the book, but I have not seen the movie. The book is good, but it does drag out.

I thought that the ending was a bit too "fairy tale" but over all it was an enjoyable, easy read.
