With the majority of Americans pressing Congress to move forward with bringing an end to the war ...is Pres.Bush hesitant to pull out of Iraq because of the impending fall of the already unstable Iraq "government" or is it purely because he is putting off the obvious failure of his blundering mistakes ?
Is he "stalling" for time to find "someone" ( possibly the Democrats ) to blame his failure on?

OK, it would be alot easier if you would just post this, "I hate George W. Bush and everything he does. Everything that is wrong in the USA is his fault"! Since you are obviously a liberal, why can't you just be direct with your feelings and stop beating around the bush! (no pun intended)

I think he is slow to respond because he is being cautious. No sitting president wants a losing war on his record, and no one in their right mind would sacrifice American life just to place the blame elsewhere. I just think that this situation is bigger than both the republicans and the democrats. We are only creating more terrorists by staying, but if we pull out too abruptly, we'll be blamed for deserting Iraq and more people will hate us still. It's pretty much damned if you do, and damned if you don't. I believe they are just trying to pick the lesser of two evils now.

The President wants to win the battle over there for our own protection. By pulling out, we admit defeat. We hope the people over there will stand up on their own two feet. I think there should be an election over there asking the people "Do you want the U.S. to stay" or "to you want the U.S. to leave". That would be the democrat way to handel this situation.

I think it would be an extremely stupid move to just leave Iraq in the condition that it is in. I don't think we'll be able to establish much of a democracy there, but I don't think it's right to just leave and let them clean up the mess that we made.

Maybe, now, he is waiting to study the Iraq Study Groups' recommendations

I think we should either bring our troops home and stop interfering with Iraq and them handle their own country OR be more aggressive over there and get things done.

I think Bush wants to be the boss and all would just follow, even if they die for it
