i feed them a selection of fresh foods just wondering whats the best for them.

does anyone know where i can get a cheap lettuce clip that i can stick to the inside of the tank?

Things like peas, zucchini, cucumber, spinach or any other dark green leaf are good. You can feed them pretty much any veggie though like carrots and squash, you can even feed them fruits like oranges and grapes. I don't use those clips since my fish just tear up whatever I put in there but I believe a lot of people that use them use those clips that keep close chip bags and you should be able to get them at any grocery store, they don't stick to the glass but they weigh the food down so it doesn't move all over the tank.

Mine love Duckweed the best but they also like pond Lettuce.

chop small lettuce and feed them. or you could buy algae wafers
