Tell your mom how you feel and if she still wants to date the person let her. In time she will see that its hurting you for her to be with that person

i can speak from experience on this subject. my mom started to date this guy and from the moment i met him i could tell that he was a jerk. he is a jerk to my mother. he won't let my mom do anything. worst of all he is really abusive to the dogs. when he is drunk he kicks the dogs half way across the room. he hates my brother. he has hit my mom twice. he hates to be ignored. if he is watching a nascar race, he won't let my mom answer the phone. i put my mom on my list of emergency contacts if i ever ended up in the hospital. he has abused me mentally and psychologically. he called me retarded and fat. he used to have a shot gun in the house, but i told him to get rid of it or i would use it on him. my best advice is to tell her to stop dating him.

basically u just go with it... there is really nothing u can do cuz its her life but u do have a right to ur opioion... if he hits her or abuses her then yes i would understand y u don't want her with him but if he is really good to her then just let her live her life. cuz there will come a day where ur goign to get with someone and she ain't going to approve of him or her and she is going to do her best to make u happy so just roll with the flow

The best thing for you to do is talk with ur mom like if she was ur friend and give her advice about what you dis like about her man and let her see for her self.

Express your concerns in a respectful way...then love her and support her anyway, no matter what her decision. Most importantly, don't turn your back on her. If your concerns prove right...she may need you when she falls. (Hey, even us parents make mistakes...shhh don't tell..LOL) I know that I would want my kids to do that for me!

Depends on your reasons for not wanting her with him. What are they. you need to ask yourself if this is for her own good or for yours. If it is out of selfishness and personal opinion then you should keep it to yourself. She has a right to be happy

Same thing you would want her to do if you were dating someone that she didn't want you with: leave her alone.

That sword cuts in both directions, you know. ;)
