I think that they should be allowed.
How does someone getting married in california or maine or somewhere else affect you?
It doesnt. It doesnt affect your life in the least bit.
Anti-gay marriage supporters need to mind thier own business and leave other people alone.

I think that any law against gay marriage is based on religion, and any law that is based on religion is a bad law. So there should be no encroachment into a man and a man getting married. (I mean not to insult women. For time sakes I call all gay relationships man and man. This is of course true for women and women. But I am a lazy American so man is shorter then women, and I tend to take the easy path.)
It could not be more simple then that.

They should be allowed because gay couples should have the same privileges as straight couples do. Gay couples are just like any other couple. Why not grant them the right to be married?

Of course they should, long overdue becoming legal in UK, glad we've finally moved on. I think any two people that really love each other should be able to form a union and declare their love for each other publicly. Its also a public statment of societies acceptance that gay relationships are equal to straight relationships.

Of course they should be. That's a no-brainer.
Marriage is a Legal contract between two unrelated adults, irrespective of gender.
The church should stick to what it knows (like pretending fairy tales are real) and stay the hell out of legal matters.
