If you trim a stalk or stem cut it at an angle and put a little sugar on the end and place it in a pot with soil and water.Don't pack the soil too firmly but place it seperately from the original plant.

Hi,
Although you have some good answers already, may I suggest that you wait a few weeks to see if your plant starts to re-sprout new leaves.
It almost appears that possibly your plant might have received too much water and/or went in to shock from a draft or other event, such as a temperature extreme change.
Put in a dark cool place for a few weeks, bring it back out, then give in a few weeks to see what happens.
Don't give it any fertilizer for a goodly length of time, this will kill it for sure, let it grow for a while.
If you see rotting or bugs coming from it, though, just pitch it.
The expense and time will be more bothersome than just starting over with a new healthy plant.
Best to you, hope this helps,
Dave

You cannot regrow them. They only live a short time. They are actually cut from a hedge like plant that grows in tropical places like Hawaii. They are not native to cold climates.

Here are some tips on this site that may help.

If you have them in some container when you bought them after your decoration then just plant them in the soil and give some water then in two days or so give some miracle grow mixed with water.
