depends on how old you are. If you are 13 and she wont let you date, get over it. you are too young, go out with a group of friends. if you are 18 and she wants you home at 9pm on a weekend, then move out and you will get the freedom you crave. It's all relative to your age, and since you didn't post that, this is pretty much all I can say.

You feel she is over protective, while she feels she is just doing what is best for you. Someday when you have children, you will realize your mother was smarter than you think at this time, and your child will be asking the same question.
