Hello,
I am going to live in britain for few years. I would like to be aware of what is good in their culture because people frustrate through talking about the negative part only.
King Regards,

I loved the tolerance and freedom for a person to be whatever they were or chose to be. Not so much prejudice or hatred. No religious pressure. Great place!

It will depend a lot on where in Britain you are. One of the features of the UK is a lot of difference in a small country.

Don't forget the big stuff: an army that stays out of politics.
Politics that is almost totally non-violent.
A general disike and distrust of extremism.

Otherwise, the big thing about the range of British cultures is that you will probably be able to find anything you want, if you look, particularly in larger urban settings.

Shakespeare or nightclubbing?
Religious groups or football matches?
Quiet hill walks or go-karting?
Museums and history or the latest "in" music?
Pressure-group activism or pub culture? (or both together!).

And no great need to do what the the majority do.
(And thank goodness for that!)
