Hi,
Have someone go to the local pharmacy and buy you Debrox - it doesn't cost much but it works wonders. I would stay away from driving if possible; with a clog like that it may be dangerous to be on the road due to the vertigo it may cause you. While someone does that, do whatever possible to distract yourself or simply lie down. Once you have used the Debrox call your doctor. A clog like the one you describe will probably need to be flushed out. If you don't have insurance try the Debrox a few times as directed on the bottle. I have gotten these kind of clogs and had a terrible migraine if I didn't take care of it quickly. Debrox comes with a soft rubber bulb ear syringe to flush the clog with warm water. I wouldn't advise using one without trying the removal aid first because I often find it clogs the ear more if just used by itself. Please be very careful; if you begin to feel pain or experience drainage or severe dizziness go to the ER (to make sure the inner ear is not injured/perforated) or call your doctor. All the best! I hate those things!

When ear wax becomes impacted then it is very hard and dense in your ear, and yes you will not hear out of the affected ear. I have used the water pik method on this several times each time with great success. First you need a water pic dental appliance. Next you fill the water pic with warm water, and get someone to help you with this. Put hydrogen peroxide in your ear to soften the wax. Then turn your ear down towards the sink and run the water pic water stream in your ear. Don't turn the volume up too far on the water pic. You will likely have to repeat this a few times but soon the wax will begin to run into the sink. You may get a little dizzy don't worry this is normal. If you try this and it does not come out then you need a professional to get it out. One last thing ear candles are a hoax, if you try them you will see for yourself that they will do nothing.

Use warm water - not scalding hot, but as hot as you can comfortably stand and pour it into your ear with your head tilted over a sink. Let it sit in your ear for a few seconds to help melt the clogging wax. You may have to try it a number of times to feel any results. If that doesn't help, see your local pharmacy - they may have some inexpensive ear drops designed to break up the wax. If not, your best bet is to go to the doctor and have them flush your ear out. They have a special tool and it works very well. Hope this helps you.

Sounds like wax buildup. You should get some hydrogen peroxide (super cheap, $0.99 a bottle) and put about a capfull in your ear. Then plug your ear with cotton or whatever to keep it in (keep head tilted). You'll hear alot of crackling, etc. which is the peroxide eating through the wax. Keep it in for about 30-45 mins, then use a q-tip to clear your ear out. If it's really packed in, you may need to irrigate it...using something that can squirt water at a high pressure (turkey baster?). Hope this helps.

Lay down with you clogged ear up. pour a cap full of hydrogen peroxide into your ear and let it bubble. Once the bubbling sound stops then turn over and all the wax will come out. Works every time!

A couple of drops of mineral oil in the clogged ear. Lay on your side and let it soak in for a few minutes. Then turn over and let it drain out. Repeat this 2 or 3 times until clear. Mineral oil cost about $1 in any drug store or supermarket.

Healthfood stores sell them. You might need your ear washed out by a doctor. To soften the wax use a couple of drops of oil twice daily. It will need to be washed out. For the future make sure you dry your ears after any contact with water.

the candle wax cones you can buy at your local health store such as GNC. They cost about 7 dollars for a pack of two. Otherwise try this with hydrogen peroxide.
