it may be just stress. happens to me too when i m stressing out, stop worrying about it, caus 4 pregnancy tests cannot, statistically, be wrong.

I went through this same thing about 3 months ago, completely missing my period, after taking 13 pregnancy tests, including a blood test, all of which came back negative (by this time I was 3 weeks late), my doctor put me on a pill called progesterone (the chemical version). It is produced naturally in the body, but unfortunately the chemical version is not that good for you. I was told to take 1 tablet per day for 5 days and my period should arrive within 5-7 days of my taking it. For some reason, at the end of the 5th day, I took another home pg test only to find it positive!!!! Well I researched this chemical progesterone and found out that it is the same thing they put in to depo provera (the contraceptive progesterone) and that it can cause birth defects if taken whilst pregnant. I had a miscarruage at 9 weeks.
My suggestion to you would be, as hard as it is, to just wait it out for another 3 weeks or so and try taking another pregnancy test then. Your Doctor cannot do anything other than prescribe this pill to you and will probably not do so (or shouldn't anyway) until you have missed at least 2-3 cycles. Please trust me on this. I was devastated when I lost my baby and I don't want you to go through that if you are pregnant and it's just not showing yet. I wish you well and lots of patience.

It seems like alot of people online have been freaking out because they haven't started yet and are late. Some of these people are honestly virgins. Maybe you are just part of this group.
The weather and things have just suddenly shifted the last couple weeks depending on where you live. This shock to your system CAN cause your body to react in ways it thinks will protect it.
Maybe you should ask the Question: I haven't started my Period, I'm late but not Pregnant, Who Else is haveing this problem? (That's probably too long). and then you all can make updates on your Questions/Answers.
As for test if they were at home those don't work out right,.. the doctors ones aren't 100% accurate. Try takeing first thing when you wake up a week from now, better to set up an appointment with your doctor and have a Blood Test. Until then just chill,.. freaking out and thinking your pregnant makes your body agree with you even if your not.

Well a missed period can also be from extreme stress related problems, excess weight loss, or for reasons that can be only explained by a doctor. Some symptoms of pregnancy are also similiar to pms symptons so be careful of that. But if you have already had 4 PT's than I advise you to go to your doctor for a blood test, and from there you should know if you are or not.

#1 if you are not far enough along your test will come back negitive at 6 weeks all my tests came back negitive and at 7 weeks it came back positive. #2 if you were pregnant and are going to experiance a misscarrige you have alot of period like symptoms like cramping...if you dont bleed it dosnt mean you are not having a misscarige you can have all the pregnancy hormons and symptems and still misscarry but you will need help getting the baby out this is called a DNC you should go to the ER and ask them to preform a vaginal ultrasound!

How late are you? If u are more than a week late and pregancy test shows negative then consult your doctor. I used to have periods weeks late and no pregancy. Just discovered I have a cyst in my ovary that delays my periods. Talk to OB_GYN soon.

stress can delay your periods and make them irregular, so maybe worrying about it, or the possibilty of being pregnant could be stressing you out and messing them all around.
wait a bit longer, and if you still havnt come on, consult a doc. but missing the odd period because of being stressed, or maybe being ill, or other factors your body may be going through is perfectly normal.

Many times girls have late periods just cause. Wait it out a little longer and if it doesn't come then talk to your doctor. It could just be an irregular period.
