I used pure Cocoa Butter with my kids, the kind that comes in the tub and is thick like Vaseline. They were all over 9 pounds, and it worked. Just make sure to apply it every single day. It's also important to drink enough water, and watch your weight gain.
Good luck!

I always hear about ..vitamin e..that's in cocoa butter...shays cocoa butter, i dont know really...some people are just prone to stretch marks more than other people..and I also think that it has to do with the weight fluctuations..lol well obviously...i dont know..i'm envious of those girls without em, but cocoa butter..in mind seems to be working out..they'll never go away if you get them...but and as far a preventing them, good luck!!! ~the joys of being a woman~

Lotions will not prevent stretch marks. Drinking plenty of water will provide elasticity in the skin and help reduce the size of stretch marks. But regardless, your genetic composition determines your skin elasticity. If you are prone to receive stretch marks, there is little you can do to avoid it completely.

Good luck with this one. My wife tried everything in the book...baby oil...hand lotions and more. My wife ended up having twin girls that weighed 8Lb's EACH. She didn't stand a chance of not having stretch marks. I was waiting for her to explode. lol
