You know you're getting old when every time you go to Walmart, you have to send the kids to the parking lot to find the car. LOL Gets me every time even with the numbers on the beginning of each row I still can't ever remember where I parked the damn thing!

"fill in the blank"???
Have you been smoking chronic way too much?
There is a difference between getting old and not remebering your own child's name.
How about laying off the wacky tobacky and I am sure a lot of your short term memory (blanks) will come back.

Thankfully I haven't reached this stage just yet, but when my brothers are talking to their kids, more times than not when the kids are acting up, I always tease them cause they sound just like our father. It's those saying that you swore you'd never repeat that get you! My favorite is Under my roof, or you do as I say until you start paying the bills

You know you're getting old when your little brother is 23 and the clearest memory you have of him (or one of them) is the chubby five-year-old asleep in dad's favorite chair :)

...when someone on Y!A asks for help identifying a "really old" movie, song, or television show, and it turns out to be from the 1980s, when I was already an adult.
