I have a real problems keeping female friends over a period of time. I have loads of long term male mates, always seem to have a girlfriend and get on fine with female family (extended and immediate) members. However i really can't seem to keep a friendship with a girl for more than a few years, any ideas as to why that is anyone?

hey look hearing it all i dont think u r intrested in girls. u really aren't very commited and u have to spend some time with the females. I think u enjoy your male companion and activities a lot and your girl friends feel ignored- a feeling we all girls hate. A girl hates the fact u consider something else above her for u she should always b on the top of your list

Do a search for the ladder theory on google or yahoo. It's an interesting theory about male/female friendships. I'm not sure that I believe it all, but it's interesting.
The average girl is hard to remain friends with though

Well i have many more female friends than male ones. I think the key is to treat them like human beings, normal people. This is where people go wrong. They dont want to have there breasts looked at, or their bum!!! And women talk different too, they dont want matcho bull, they are freinds with you cos of who you are not what you want to pretend to be, too much testosterone spoils the male/female friends thing!! Just be yourself and treat them as you would like to be treated back.

First question you ask yourself. When you are with a female friend, what do you talk about? I mean like if you talk about something the girl doesn't like, than you are in trouble. Second question you ask yourself, do you like lie to girls or hit them. Then you are definitely dead. Third question you ask yourself, like if you are in school and you see this guy and he wants to talk to you, and you don't like him. Do you just ignore him. I mean some girls just laugh, but some just hate it to see you ignoring somone that wants to talk to you. k. Here are my suggestions. I have had really good male friends. And still do have male friends.

Its either because you cant understand how our minds work well enough to be our friend or because you cant keep your libido under control around us.haha

i guess girls are pretty fickle and things get complicated when we get into relationships.I only have 1 female friend all the rest are male so maybe its not you... just us girls

i like having guy friends, i find they are way easier to talk to, and they are so much less bitchy! maybe he reason is that you're attractive to them so they want to be more than friends.
