I agree w/ Jennie. I don't believe that anyone gets "pregnant by accident". Even if birth control is being used, there is still that chance that a baby can be made. Those are just the facts of having sex - with or without protection. My husband and I have never used the pull out method, but it doesn't sound like a smart idea if someone wasn't prepared to raise a child.

Roughly 60 percent to 80 percent of couples under age 30 who use the "pullout method," which is not actually a contraceptive method, will get pregnant within one year (12 months of unprotected sex). So if you really want a baby, this is a great method to choose.

If by chance you are under 25, your chances of pregnancy are much higher, of course, because you are even more fertile.

The reason you get pregnant with the pullout method is that pre-ejaculatory fluid contains thousands of sperm. These tiny drops of fluid get into your vagina, and WHAM, thank you m'am, you get pregnant!

To avoid pregnancy, you must put the condom on before you begin having intercourse.

Be smart and if you don't want a baby use the pill, the iud, spermicidal inserts, condoms, the ring, the patch, etc. In other words, use birth control!

I got pregnant on the pill and with a condom. The pull-out method won't stop you from getting pregnant, the pre-*** has active sperm in it and that is the likely way anyone using the pull-out method will end up pregnant.

I've used it for years. And then I try to have a baby for a year with no luck. I got prego after we stopped trying. Now we're back to pulling out and my baby just turned one. I'm not pregnant again yet.

Twice! My daughter and this current pregnancy both were conceived that way! My husband had great timing (sometimes even a few seconds earlier) but it just didn't work for us! Our doctor warned us after the first time lol, and she was right!
