Union. They all wanted private elf cover, even for dependents at gnome, and he had to give in. Fairy nuff, he thought.

.:hehe:. I am thinking Union. They are probably getting up there in age, and need good benefits for them and their families. As a Union they can rally together to ask Santa for a raise and better working conditions.

I think Elves volunteered there time to make the toys once. Then they turned it into a tradition. As the population increased the elves worked longer hours with less bathroom breaks. Poor, poor elves.......just kiddin!

I suspect neither. I'd say it's a family business, therefore all are expected to work 24/7 when necessary. (I know, I grew up in a family run neighborhood grocery store!)

I bet they are American postal workers union ....but then again Santa is kinda shady so they could be teamsters that might explain where jimmy Hoffa is .......
