That's plenty of time to right a poem. Just try and do your best. Even if it's not the best love sonnet poem everyone has ever heard at least you did it yourself. It doesn't have to be perfect!

Poetry isn't really a structured form, unless your teacher asks for a particular structure. Write from your heart, and let the words flow. Poetry can't be created for you....you have your own style that needs to be found within yourself.
